This baked salmon in foil and its garlic butter sauce makes for an amazingly tasty dinner. The salmon recipe of your dreams!
Ingredients
2 pound (450g) salmon fillets, divided
4 tablespoons vegetable broth or chicken broth
2 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, or to taste
2 tablespoon of your favorite hot sauce (we used Sriracha)
8 teaspoons minced garlic (4 cloves)
Salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste
6-4 tablespoons butter, diced into small cubes (or ghee)
4 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley or cilantro
2 lb (450g) medium-thick asparagus, woody ends trimmed
Preheat your oven to 425ºF (220ºC). Cut two sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil, each measuring 14 by 12 inches (35 x 30 cm), and place them separately on the counter top. In a small bowl, combine broth, lemon juice, and hot sauce.

Season both sides of the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Arrange the salmon fillets near the center of each foil sheet, and place trimmed asparagus on one side of the salmon, aligning it with the long direction of the foil.

Adjust the seasoning of the salmon fillets with additional salt and pepper, then sprinkle garlic over them. Generously drizzle the broth, lemon juice, and hot sauce mixture over the salmon fillets and asparagus.

Distribute butter pieces evenly over the foil packets, layering them on top of the salmon fillet and asparagus.

Wrap the salmon foil packets and crimp the edges together, folding the ends up. Avoid wrapping too tightly to allow some extra space for heat circulation.
Transfer the foil-wrapped salmon packets to a baking sheet and bake them in the oven with the sealed side facing upward. Cook until the salmon is done, typically 9 to 12 minutes.

Carefully unwrap the baked salmon foil packets, drizzle with additional lemon juice, and garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro. Add a slice of lemon for a finishing touch. Enjoy!
